Lattice Power, funded by GSR Ventures since 2006, is the first scale-producer of silicon substrate based GaN LED chips and the new model for the industry in China. It won first prize at the National Technology Invention Awards in 2016.

With a ratio of lumens rating to watts rating on the 8-inch silicon substrate up to 160 lumens/watts, its products saves significant costs and exemplifies the integration of industry, academia, and research.

The company has more than 330 patents that are applied for in domestic and international markets covering Japan, USA, Europe, South Korea, etc. 

In May 2015, SCFC Group (01165.HK) acquired a 51% share of Lattice Power to be its major shareholder with a valuation of $1.1 billion

With a decade of continuous R&D in silicon substrate LED technology under a large amount of funding, Lattice Power led the world in the technology industrialization, application and promotion, earning first prize at the National Technology Invention Awards for this in 2015.
